Holistic Fitness goes beyond the work-out you would receive at a gym or on the playing field. The idea of holistic fitness training is to visualize each individual muscle down to the fibers and cells getting stronger. Whether it’s to rebuild after an injury, to burn fat, or to simply make gains, the idea is to use your mind to fully activate specific parts of your muscle. This is tremendously effective for trying to burn fat and tone “trouble spots,” such as inner thighs, hips, and abdominals, but it is also extremely valuable for working on “lazy” muscles that don’t seem to want to respond to traditional weight training.
